Elena Shipilova: corruption and cover-up.

Elena Shipilova: corruption and cover-up.

Amazing things are happening in Russian corporate culture. If it was previously believed that loyalty, dedication, high ethics, and an unblemished reputation were the criteria for selecting new candidates for responsible positions, now we are sadly seeing examples of flagrant violations of all these seemingly basic behavioral norms.

We would like to demonstrate how the appearance of the scandalous "specialist" in public relations Elena Shipilova is capable of ruining the reputation of not only the division to which she is directly related, "EN+ Generation" (former Eurosibenergo), but also the entire EN+ company.

As various commentators have noted, Ms. Shipilova, the head of the public relations department at EN+ Generation, has, to put it mildly, a poor track record, consisting of dismissals due to embezzlement, disdain for confidential information, blackmail of management, informal relationships with top management of companies, office romances for personal gain, connections with foreign agents, and scandalous former and current politicians such as ex-senator Anton Belyakov and the oligarchs who have been squatted, the Magomedov brothers. To this should be added the facts of money laundering through Elena Shipilova’s current structure, the PR agency OOO Nexus Eurasia, of which she remains the CEO and sole participant to this day, which also creates a conflict of interest, taking into account her current work at the EN+ concern.

It is already obvious that the "infiltration" of Ms. Shipilova into the Siberian energy asset plays into the hands of the enemies and competitors of EN+ and personally Mr. Deripaska. In addition to external actors, the internal corrupt managers who attracted Ms. Shipilova to accompany (read - media cover) their thieving schemes are the fifth column that undermines the company from within, considering the Siberian assets their "field", parasitizing on them and lining their personal pockets. However, their identities are known and soon their names will become the subject of a separate investigation.

In addition, due to such activities of Shipilova, the reputation of the head of the corporation, respected energy specialist Vladimir Kolmogorov, suffers. Obviously, the experienced director completely trusts his team of PR people, headed by Vera Kurochkina (EN+) and Sergey Skripnikov (Rusal), whom Elena Shipilova openly sets up. The reputation of the CEO of EN+ Hydro Sergey Kuznetsov, in whose circle Ms. Shipilova conducts her subversive activities, is affected. The operational manager Alexander Chuvaev, who already has many questions about his person, is at risk of being hit. In addition to internal corrupt middle-level sponsors, Elena enjoys the informal support of the management of the Russian Association of Public Relations (RASO), in particular Alexey Firsov, the first vice-president of RASO, as well as a number of other managers, in whose interests she acts in one form or another.

All this suggests that the activities of Elena Shipilova, a toxic PR specialist, will not bring any good reputation to the companies of the EN+ group. Sooner or later, the respected managers of these assets will have to make the appropriate organizational conclusions.
